Métamorphose dans le Greaser
Finally, after planning and pondering, I made the change. I studied greaser.com and a ton of other web sites and got all the info before I made my move.
First things first: I went to the mall and grabbed a leather biking jacket from the leather store. You can't be a greaser without a bitchin' jacket, and the classic biker style is always a sure winner with the ladies and offers a balance of black leather and steel that is oh-so-pleasing to the eye. While I was there, I bought a pair of leather fingerless gloves and cans of leather cleaner and water-proofer.
Black leather biking jacket — $299.99Leather fingerless gloves — $24.99
Leather cleaner/treatment kit — $14.99Total: $339.97
Next I went to a few other shops and got new jeans. Wearing cargo pants with the jacket looks pretty gay. I grabbed five pairs of straight-cut tight-ass pants which should be enough for now. I can wear the cargo jeans around my girlfriend and her family and the tight ones when I'm out greasin'.
Total: $240.94
Next was shoes, pretty easy. I got a pair of chucks ($50) and old-fashion biker boots ($225) at another store in the mall.
Chuck Taylors — $49.99Black leather biking boots — $224.99Total: $274.98
I got a haircut after all this and bought grease and pomade and something called Brylcream. The lady said to try'em all until I find what i like and then stick with that. They sold me a nice assortment, I hope I end up liking something. I have thick hair so she said i might like 90-weight grease which means nothing to me, so whatever.
Men's shampoo & haircut — $24.99Assorted hair products — $39.99Total: $64.98
Last I hit the music store in the mall. I promised myself I wouldn't listen to any newer music and put my CD collection away for when my girlfriend came over and scoped out only Sixties and Fifties music. I got a lot of different compilations and I bought some albums. So now I'm jamming to Elvis, Jerry Lewis, Bill Haley, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, and Chris Isaak. I already made some mix cds from'em.
♫ YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG ♫ lol.
Total: $127.90
Grand Total: $1,048.77
I feel like a new person now and I can't wait to go out and find a scene. Does anyone here have tips on getting to know local greasers or maybe biker gangs? I'm just out of high school and all the kids I hung out with were fucking preps and I quit callin'em when I made up my mind to do this. They didn't understand and called me a fag, I told'em to fuck off if they didn't get the lifestyle.
I also need advice also on blowing smoke rings, what kind of tattoos to get, and some slang to use. Dammit there ain't a lot of greaser chicks in my area but hopefully I'll find a girl who thinks it's cool and starts dressing that way. Any help is appreciated, I am sooo excited to get going on this.
Thank you.
